A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 78-year-old David Bullock, a beloved postie who was struck by a car on his last day of work before retirement in Leeston, Canterbury, on July 4. The suspect is charged with dangerous driving resulting in Bullock’s death and has been granted a registrar’s remand with interim name suppression. He is scheduled to reappear in Christchurch District Court on December 23.
