Kyklades Maritime, a Greek private shipowner, has sold the 12-year-old aframax Nissos Delos to MJL Bangladesh for $45.3m, as reported by brokers worldwide. MJL Bangladesh, a lubricant and LPG producer, will use the tanker to replace its current vessel, the 2005-built Omera Legacy. Kyklades Maritime has been focusing on upgrading its fleet’s age profile, recently acquiring the three-year-old aframax Mesta from Union Maritime, now named Amades.
