Private equity firm KKR has received approval from the European Union for its acquisition of a minority stake in Telecom Italia. The deal, valued at around 1.8 billion euros, will give KKR a 37.5% stake in the Italian telecommunications company. This move marks KKR’s first major investment in the European telecom sector.

Besieged Reeves hit by even worse than expected economic growth forecast
Rachel Reeves received a boost with the Bank of England cutting interest rates to aid economic growth, benefiting businesses and mortgage holders.
