Waldo Wessels, the 32-year-old owner of Kingtow Pty Ltd, confronted by 7NEWS, dropped his pants and showed his rear end while expressing disdain over the news coverage of his towing business. Kingtow has faced numerous complaints from customers about exorbitant towing fees, with charges reaching $5,400 for minor tows, leading to disputes with insurance companies like RACWA. As new regulations are planned for the towing industry in Western Australia, Minister Jessica Stojkovski highlighted Wessels’ behavior as indicative of problematic operators in the field.
