Review of Kingfisher Villa

During a morning game drive in the Mabula Game Reserve, we had a thrilling encounter with a majestic male lion and his family. The moment was heart-stopping as the lion approached our vehicle, only to be joined by a lioness and their adorable cubs a few minutes later. It was a truly incredible experience.

Kingfisher Villa, the newest addition to the Mabula Game Reserve, offered us a luxurious and exclusive stay. With just 5 suites, guests can enjoy a private retreat or book individual suites for a personalized experience. The villa is beautifully decorated with a blend of modern amenities and traditional African touches, overlooking the Mvubu dam where hippos and crocodiles could be seen.

The suites are spacious and comfortable, with elegant furnishings and luxurious bathrooms. Outdoor lounges, a rim-flow pool, and a fire-lit boma area provided perfect spots to relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets. Daily game drives in the Greater Mabula Game Reserve offered us the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including the Big 5.

The staff at Kingfisher Villa were incredibly friendly and accommodating, with a talented chef who prepared delicious meals tailored to our preferences. The villa is perfect for family getaways, corporate retreats, romantic escapes, or weekend breaks.

If you’re looking for a sanctuary of luxury and wilderness, Kingfisher Villa is the perfect destination. Plan your visit and experience the beauty of the African wilderness at this exclusive retreat.
