The King and Queen will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary with a state banquet in Rome during their four-day state visit to Italy. Charles and Camilla first met in 1970 and eventually wed in 2005 after previous marriages. Camilla’s position as Charles’ partner was carefully orchestrated following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997.
