Killer of London, Ont., Muslim family appeals convictions, challenging use of manifesto at trial

A London, Ont., man, Nathaniel Veltman, convicted of a hate-motivated attack that killed four members of a Muslim family and severely injured a fifth, is appealing his conviction on three grounds. One of his points of appeal is that the judge improperly allowed the jury to consider Veltman’s white nationalist manifesto during the trial. This appeal coincides with the fourth anniversary of the tragic incident.
