Global superstar Khalid is returning to Perth for his first headline tour performance since a 2018 festival appearance. The 28-year-old American singer will kick off his It’s Always Summer Somewhere tour in Brisbane on November 11, followed by shows in Sydney and Melbourne, before concluding in Perth at RAC Arena on November 18. Fans can expect to hear his classic hits, including “Young Dumb and Broke,” “Lovely,” and “Location,” along with his latest collaboration “Save My Love” with Kygo and Griffyn. Lauv, a multi-platinum pop artist, will provide support for all tour dates. This tour marks Khalid’s first arena performances in Australia since his 2019 Free Spirit tour and follows his recent album release, After The Sun Goes Down, which has been well-received by critics.

Why It Matters

Khalid’s tour is significant as it represents his ongoing influence in the music industry, following his breakout single “Location,” which led to a major record deal and subsequent success. His debut album, American Teen, and the critically acclaimed Free Spirit further cemented his status as a leading artist. Khalid’s collaborations with top musicians, including Billie Eilish and Ed Sheeran, highlight his versatility and appeal across diverse audiences. Additionally, his recognition with Billboard’s Disruptor award underscores his impact on the music landscape over the past decade.
