Katy Perry is going to space with Blue Origin

Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin is set to launch pop singer Katy Perry and five other women, including former NASA scientists Aisha Bowe and Amanda Nguyen, on the NS-31 flight aboard the New Shepard rocket. The launch will occur at 8:30 AM CT / 9:30 AM ET and will be livestreamed on YouTube and Blue Origin’s website. In a pre-flight video, Perry hinted at a “special reveal” from zero gravity and expressed plans to sing during the flight, which will allow passengers to experience a brief period of weightlessness.
