Kahurangi National Park: Missing Tramper Graham Garnett Found Alive

A 66-year-old tramper, Graham Garnett, went missing in Kahurangi National Park after failing to return from exploring the Baton/Ellis River area on December 30. A comprehensive search and rescue operation was initiated, involving Land Search and Rescue New Zealand, the Defence Force, and numerous volunteers. Unfortunately, the search was called off on January 15 after he could not be located. Fortunately, Garnett has now been found alive.
