The Justice Department is reviewing the federal investigation into Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff, prompted by a tip from Republican candidate Christine Bish alleging mortgage fraud. Bish was questioned about her communications with Bill Pulte, head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, who referred Schiff for investigation, and Ed Martin of the Justice Department. Schiff has denied any wrongdoing, and the Justice Department has not commented on the matter. The investigation also involves other officials, including Rep. Eric Swalwell and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
