Junior girls scholarship to help keep Lake View Dumbleyung Golf Club’s young stars on the course

The Lake View Dumbleyung Golf Club has secured funding for a junior girls golfing scholarship through the Australian Golf Foundation, supporting girls aged nine to 16 in developing their skills and promoting the sport. Dumbleyung Primary School students have been awarded scholarships, including coaching sessions and a one-year junior club membership, with the aim of encouraging girls to continue playing and participating in competitions. The initiative is part of a national effort to increase female participation in golf, building on the success of the Golf in Schools program and providing opportunities for rural girls to engage in the sport.
