Judge dismisses Trump lawsuit against Maryland-based judges over handling of immigration cases

WASHINGTON — A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit by the Trump administration against all federal judges in Maryland regarding a standing order that temporarily stays deportations for immigrants. U.S. District Judge Thomas Cullen stated that the administration must seek a proper legal avenue to raise concerns about the order, which was issued to protect immigrants facing imminent deportation.
