Man extradited from Peru in wife’s murder case

Los Angeles— Jossimar Cabrera, 36, has been extradited from Peru to face murder charges for allegedly killing his wife, Sheylla Cabrera, whose body was found in Angeles National Forest on August 16. Cabrera, who turned himself in to Peruvian authorities, was captured on surveillance footage dragging a heavy object resembling the material in which his wife’s body was wrapped. The couple’s three children were also taken to Peru but have since been returned to Los Angeles. The cause of Sheylla’s death remains undisclosed.
