Drummer for indie rockers the New Pornographers arrested over child sexual abuse images | Music

Joe Seiders, the drummer for the indie rock band the New Pornographers, was arrested in Riverside County, California, for possession of child sexual abuse imagery following two incidents involving minors at a fast food restaurant. Evidence found during searches of his home and belongings led to additional charges, including annoying/molesting a child and invasion of privacy. The band has severed ties with Seiders, expressing shock and devastation over the allegations, as he had been an active member since replacing former drummer Kurt Dahle.
