Jimmies softball swept by North Dakota on the road

The University of Jamestown lost 3-1 to the University of North Dakota at Albrecht Field, with the Jimmies taking an early lead but unable to recover from a three-run third inning by the Fighting Hawks. Hope Ransome pitched for the Jimmies, while Jackie Albrecht and Makaela Carr led the Hawks to victory. In the second game, the Jimmies fell 3-0 despite multiple opportunities to score, with Unity Nelson pitching a shutout for the Fighting Hawks. UJ will look to bounce back against Valley City State University on Saturday.
