Japanese firm Icom announced that they stopped producing the IC-V82 handheld radio model, which was reportedly used in recent explosions in Lebanon, around 10 years ago. The radio was produced and exported to the Middle East from 2004 to October 2014, with production discontinued in 2014. Additionally, the production of the batteries needed for the radio has also been stopped, ensuring that no new units have been shipped since then.
