Janey Godley funeral and final journey LIVE as Scots star makes ‘last tour’ through beloved Fringe city

Janey Godley is set to have her final farewell in Edinburgh today, accompanied by a 100-strong female choir and best friend Shirley Doig. Following her passing on November 2 after battling ovarian cancer, Janey’s daughter Ashley Storrie invited fans to join in the procession along the Royal Mile. The farewell will continue with a St Andrew’s Day service in Glasgow on Saturday, where donations to the Princess of Wales Hospice are encouraged in lieu of flowers.
