Jai Opetaia brutally knocks out David Nyika to retain IBF and The Ring cruiserweight world titles

Jai Opetaia successfully defended his IBF and The Ring cruiserweight world titles by knocking out David Nyika in the fourth round with a brutal uppercut followed by three thunderous shots. Nyika was down for several minutes before being helped back to his dressing room, suffering his first career defeat. Opetaia, now 27-0, called out WBO and WBA champion Gilberto RamĂ­rez for a unification bout, while other winners on the card included Justis Huni, Teremoana Teremoana, Ben Mahoney, and Max McIntyre.
