An American neuroscientist has raised concerns about potential fatalities as the controversial collision sport “run it straight” is set to debut in the U.S. The event, organized by the same group that introduced it to New Zealand, will tour six West Coast cities starting November 18. The sport, which originated in the late 1940s, has faced criticism for its dangers.
