The investigation stems from a report by the “Uvda” program revealing WhatsApp messages where Mrs. Netanyahu appears to orchestrate protests and intimidate a key trial witness. Netanyahu has defended his wife, calling the report “lies,” amidst ongoing legal troubles including his own corruption trial where he faces charges of fraud, breach of trust, and accepting bribes which he denies as part of a supposed “witch hunt” by authorities.
