Israeli attacks on Gaza residential areas kill at least 29

Israeli attacks on the north and centre of Gaza Strip have killed dozens, including women and children, with at least 20 dead in Beit Lahiya and seven in Nuseirat refugee camp. Amid a deepening humanitarian crisis, the bombardment continues despite truce efforts, with nearly 45,000 dead and over 100,000 wounded in the past 14 months. US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is heading to Israel for talks on a ceasefire deal in Gaza, among other regional issues.
