Israel mysterious pyramid discovered in Judean Desert with bronze coins

Archaeologists in the Judean Desert discovered a mysterious pyramid-shaped structure dating back 2,200 years, believed to be a guard tower, grave marker, or ancient monument. The excavation, a joint mission between the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) and the Ministry of Heritage, revealed hand-hewn stones weighing hundreds of pounds, along with bronze coins, weapons, wooden tools, fabrics, and historical documents. Contrary to previous beliefs, the structure was built during the Hellenistic period under Ptolemaic rule, providing new insights into the region’s history.
