Israel launched a “limited ground operation” in northern Gaza to retake part of a corridor, shattering a two-month ceasefire with Hamas. The military retook part of the Netzarim corridor, warning of intensified attacks if hostages held by Hamas are not freed. A UN staffer was killed in a strike on a UN compound in Deir al-Balah, as the conflict continues to escalate with numerous casualties reported.
