‘Blatant violation’: Hamas slams Israel as release of Palestinians delayed

Hamas has condemned Israel’s decision to delay the release of over 600 Palestinian prisoners, accusing Israel of using false claims to evade its obligations under the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s decision to postpone the release was criticized as a deliberate attempt to disrupt the agreement and a violation of its terms. The delay came after Hamas released six Israeli captives, with Netanyahu demanding an end to what he called “humiliating ceremonies” during the release process.
