Two MEPs and European Parliament staff were denied entry to Israel despite being part of an official European Parliament Delegation for Relations with Palestine. Lynn Boylan and Rima Hassan were among those refused entry, prompting Boylan to denounce Israel’s actions as contemptuous and calling for sanctions. The Left Group in the EU parliament reiterated the need for MEPs to carry out their duties without hindrance and called for the immediate suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement.
