Island insight guides new JP

Cordelia Ale, Mid Canterbury’s newest Justice of the Peace, aims to bridge the gap between Pasifika families and the legal and health systems by providing support and guidance. With a background in assisting Pasifika students in Ashburton and a growing Pasifika population in the district, Ale is committed to ensuring equal access and assistance. Her role as a JP allows her to certify documents, handle declarations, and assist with legal processes as a community service leader.
