Two Pak’nSave operators plead guilty to unfair trading after ‘specials’ were not so special

Two supermarkets, Gladstone Retail Ltd (Pak’nSave Mill Street) and Silverdale Food Warehouse Ltd (Pak’nSave Silverdale), have pleaded guilty to unfair trading practices after the Commerce Commission found they advertised misleading prices and non-existent discounts. The Auckland District Court addressed eight charges against Gladstone, with the company already admitting guilt to four of them.
