Iran: Anthony Albanese expels Iranian Ambassador Ahmad Sadeghi after attacks on Jewish communities

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has expelled Iran’s Ambassador Ahmad Sadeghi and three officials, linking them to orchestrated attacks on Jewish communities, including a synagogue firebombing in Melbourne and an attack in Sydney. Australia has also suspended embassy operations in Iran, plans to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization, and urges Australians in Iran to leave safely.
