Kerry Wan from ZDNET noticed a significant decline in iPhone battery life after upgrading to iOS 18, with subsequent updates exacerbating the issue. Despite investigating various settings and apps, the culprit was found to be Apple Intelligence, which was draining the battery even when not actively in use. Disabling this feature resulted in a return to normal battery levels, with reports of similar problems on other Apple devices like MacBooks.
