SINGAPORE: Karlina, an Indonesian domestic worker, aspires to open a facial salon after receiving training at Development Singapore, a non-profit organization, alongside other migrants. After 18 years in Singapore, Karlina and fellow student Nurul Aida plan to return home to establish new careers and support their communities, joining around 3,000 graduates from the program who have launched new businesses. The founders, Harun and Josanti, started the organization in response to the challenges faced by migrant workers and their families back home.
