Well Go USA has released a thrilling trailer for the Chinese WWII film Dongji Rescue, directed by Hu Guan and Fei Zhenxiang, based on the true events of the 1942 Lisbon Maru Sinking Incident, where Dongji fishermen courageously rescued over 300 British POWs from a Japanese search. Starring Zhu Yilong and others, the film opens in select US theaters on August 22, 2025, following a successful release in China.
