In its first ACC game, Stanford beats Syracuse with FG on final play

Emmet Kenney’s 39-yard field goal at the end of the game secured a 26-24 victory for Stanford over Syracuse in their first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference matchup. Kyle McCord’s 13-yard touchdown pass to Jackson Meeks briefly gave Syracuse the lead, but Ashton Daniels led Stanford on a game-winning drive. Kenney also made field goals from 38, 51, and 35 yards, while safety Mitch Leigber had a crucial interception for the Cardinal.
