In escalation, Israel bombs Hezbollah-linked finance group

Israel escalated its bombing campaign against Lebanese branches accused of funding Hezbollah, targeting Al-Qard Al-Hassan and other locations in Beirut, Bekaa Valley, and the south. Hezbollah retaliated by downing an Israeli drone and firing rockets at Israeli troops. The UNIFIL reported Israeli attacks on their positions, while Israel vowed to continue strikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon to prevent attacks on Israel.
