Iga Swiatek, the World No 2 tennis player, received a one-month ban from the ITIA after testing positive for a prohibited substance, TMZ. The 23-year-old Polish player explained that the doping violation was due to a contaminated supply of melatonin provided by her physio. Despite the ban, Swiatek’s explanation was accepted by the ITIA, who found her at the lowest end of the range for no significant fault or negligence.
