Dubai airport resumes flights after drone incident and fuel tank fire

Dubai International Airport resumed some flights on Monday morning after a drone incident caused a nearby fire. The Dubai Airports spokesperson confirmed a gradual return to service for select destinations following a temporary suspension. Firefighters contained the blaze, which originated from an impact on one of the airport’s fuel tanks, with no reported injuries. Some flights were redirected to Al Maktoum International Airport during the disruption.
