Ibrahim Aqil, the leader of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit, was killed in an Israeli air strike in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Aqil was on the US sanctions list for nearly a decade and was described as a “key leader” by the United States, which offered a $7 million reward for information on him.
