A group of 200 Chinese nationals rescued from scam centres in Myanmar were repatriated via Thailand as part of a joint effort to combat internet fraud. Another 600 individuals are set to be sent back this week, with cooperation between China, Thailand, and Myanmar crucial for the operation. The repatriation initiative follows the rescue of Chinese actor Wang Xing, drawing attention to the issue and prompting efforts to dismantle scam compounds and assist survivors in both countries.
