Humpback whale briefly swallows kayaker in Chilean Patagonia

In Punta Arenas, Chile, a humpback whale briefly swallowed a kayaker off Chilean Patagonia before releasing him unharmed, captured on camera and quickly going viral. Last Saturday, Adrián Simancas was kayaking with his father, Dell, near the San Isidro Lighthouse in the Strait of Magellan when the whale engulfed Adrián and his kayak before letting him go. Despite the terrifying experience, both father and son returned to shore uninjured, highlighting the challenges and risks of exploring the frigid waters of the region.
