The descent capsule of Kosmos 482, which has been orbiting Earth since its launch in 1972, has reportedly crashed back to Earth, potentially in the Indian Ocean. Despite monitoring efforts by Roscosmos and NASA, no visual confirmations of the crash were recorded, leading to uncertainty about its exact landing site, though predictions suggest it reentered at 9.24am Moscow time. The European Space Agency is still awaiting reports of any sightings or impacts from the descent, as the spacecraft was designed to withstand intense heat, raising the possibility it survived reentry.
