Howard Lutnick agrees to House committee interview in Epstein investigation

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has agreed to voluntarily testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee regarding its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s case. Rep. James Comer praised Lutnick’s commitment to transparency. Lutnick previously stated that he severed ties with Epstein in 2005, but emails revealed plans for a family visit to Epstein’s island in 2012, where he acknowledged having lunch with Epstein. The two were also business associates until 2014.
