A new study published in the journal Advanced Science has found that gazing into your furry friend’s eyes and giving them pets can lead to synchronization of brain waves between humans and dogs, known as interbrain activity coupling. This phenomenon, previously observed in human-human interactions and between different species, is now confirmed in human-dog pairs for the first time. The ability to synchronize brain activity through such interactions highlights the deep emotional bond and connection between humans and their canine companions.
