On the other hand, Trump has garnered more trust from Americans on immigration issues, according to various polls.
In a poll by Marquette University Law School, 53% of registered voters believed Trump would handle immigration and border security better, while only 25% thought Biden would. Party lines largely dictate approval ratings, with Republicans overwhelmingly supporting Trump and Democrats backing Biden. The issue of immigration and the border continues to be a major point of contention between the two presidential candidates.
