House Republicans are set to elect Speaker Mike Johnson to continue leading their leadership team, thanks to the GOP’s strong performance in the recent elections. Johnson is expected to easily secure the nomination and then win the speaker’s gavel in January. Other key leadership positions, including Majority Leader Steve Scalise and Majority Whip Tom Emmer, are also expected to remain unchanged, with only the GOP Conference Chair position seeing a competitive race.
