House foreign affairs committee to probe decision to waive sanctions on Russian titanium

The House of Commons foreign affairs committee has decided to conduct hearings on Global Affairs Canada’s decision to provide waivers to aerospace companies regarding the potential use of Russian titanium.

Recently, exemptions were granted to Airbus and Bombardier, enabling them to bypass sanctions imposed on VSMPO-AVISMA, a Russian company.
