In the Little India area of Singapore, two hotels had to evacuate their guests after two shophouses on Syed Alwi Road partially collapsed, with a third hotel reporting damage. The collapse, which injured six people, is believed to have been caused by a gas explosion that occurred around 1.30am, with witnesses hearing a loud explosion.
