HK rule of law ‘profoundly compromised’: British judge

A British judge has stated that the rule of law in Hong Kong has been “profoundly compromised.” This comes after the controversial National Security Law was implemented by China, giving authorities more power to crack down on dissent. Many fear that the autonomy and freedoms once enjoyed in Hong Kong are now at risk.
