Hiker Misreported Dead in Adirondacks

In a bizarre incident in the Adirondack Mountains, two hikers mistakenly reported a third member of their group as dead after consuming hallucinogenic mushrooms. The hikers contacted 911 from Cascade Mountain, claiming they were lost, but a forest ranger found the supposedly deceased hiker unharmed. The ranger escorted the two confused individuals down to an ambulance, while the third hiker was taken back to their campsite, where they later reunited without any injuries.
