Hezbollah announced the funeral of its leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated in Israeli airstrikes, will take place on Feb. 23. A U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Israel was extended until Feb. 18, with Israeli troops still present in southern Lebanon as tensions remain high. Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah since 1992, was killed in September, and his funeral procession will also honor Hashem Safieddine, another senior Hezbollah official.
