The first developer preview of Android 16, known as Android 16 DP1, was released on November 19 with new features like Audio Sharing, a Privacy Dashboard, and Notification Cooldown. The Privacy Dashboard allows users to review a week’s worth of data to monitor app permissions, while Audio Sharing enables sharing audio to multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Notification Cooldown reduces the volume of notifications from the same app within a specific timeframe. These features are still in early development and may change before the official launch of Android 16.
